Conditions for the Award
To qualify for the Sir Fosuaba A. Mensah Banahene Scholarship Fund, applicants must meet the following conditions:

The scholarship is awarded annually, with the possibility of renewal if the recipient continues to meet the selection criteria.

A recipient who is awarded the scholarship for one year is eligible for consideration in subsequent years, provided she maintains the required standards.

The scholarship covers the cost of tuition and other fees for the academic year, not exceeding the equivalent cost of that year’s tuition.

Applicants must be full-time students at the Catholic University of Ghana to be considered eligible.

A minimum GPA of 3.50 is required to qualify for the scholarship.

Recipients are expected to maintain a GPA of 3.50 throughout their academic journey to retain the scholarship.
Mode of Application
Eligible female students are required to:

Submit a formal application letter and a completed application form.

Attach two (2) recent passport-sized photographs and hard copies of relevant CVs and CUG results.
Candidates can collect application forms from the Assistant Registrar (Human Resource Development Unit). Completed forms should be submitted through their Faculty Deans and returned to the Secretary, Scholarship Committee with a recommendation from the respective Deans.

The completed application and required documents must be submitted no later than Friday, May 30, 2025.
