7. Social Media Integrations (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram)

Authorised admissions office staff connect the university's own social media accounts to our private admin dashboard so they can publish content and see how it performs. This section describes what that involves, including our use of the TikTok API.

• What we access: only the account the staff member chooses to connect: the account name and profile picture, follower, like and video counts, the list of videos the university has published with their view, like and comment counts, and the ability to upload and publish videos to that account when staff choose to. We do not access the private data of other TikTok users, followers or viewers.
• How we use it: to publish admissions and campus videos and to report on their performance to the admissions team. We do not use this data for advertising profiles, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties.
• Storage: the access tokens that let us act on the connected account are kept on our servers, are available only to authorised administrators, and are deleted when the account is disconnected from the dashboard.
• Your control: staff can disconnect an account at any time from the dashboard, and you can also remove our access from within your TikTok, Facebook or Instagram account settings under connected apps. To ask us to delete data we hold, contact us using the details below.

Use of TikTok through our app is also subject to TikTok's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
